Busy Busy Busy!

Done an almost 12 hour day today at college. Being the last day before my groups presentation it was all a bit hands on. Which is good as people pulled there fingers out of their arse's. Only slightly though.

Theres still work to do. Like putting the actual presentation together! I did do this but apparently product think its best to have loads of silly pictures in it. So once they've got the content, i'll stick it in. Doubt that will happen, we'll see.

I get home at 9:30pm and Bang! straight on the laptop to type out my journal for the same project. Wacked that out in half hour. Only about 250 words but it doesn't need to be an essay. After that onto the computer to amend some flash work for my client. Waiting for a reply as i type this. Hopfully it will be the last amend and get my paycheck! and some food....

Another Rant

OK, I'm no saint when it comes to doing vast amounts of work. But at least i do something, or push myself to do something thats pointless. I haven't used Maya in over 3 years, yet i'm here relying on my memory merly just to have a reasonable project log. Although i don't mind doing it, it hasn't come out how i want and now going to start yet more sketechs and paint some concepts in photoshop. To be honest, i'm kinda looking forward to pulling my old wacom out and having a blast in photoshop. Its what i enjoy, illistration.

My only worry is that i'm gonna do 2 or 3 concepts of a final design, only to come in next week and have my group, yet again change the idea. The 'final' idea at the moment isn't hardly inspiring to say the least. But i'm biting my thumb and going to get on with it. Should turn out alright....

I could rant on and on about my groups lack of progression. I don't know what it is. i spend all day infront of a computer making and tidying up alexander platz model ready for the final concept to be put in, go next door and they've done fuckall!!! oh, wait, i've started ranting. Ah well, as long as i have a decent project log, i'm not too concerned.

Crystal Maze FTW!

Productive

Today was reasonabily productive. I came across rustlers competitor, stared at a wallpaper for about 2 hours, listened to jimmy carr, got owned at halo and confused by my lectures explanation on interaction design. Now i sit here wondering why i just watched Richard Hammond mumble on about some fat guy for an hour when i could be researching stuff for the essay.

Oh what should i do now. Well i'm obviously wasting time typing this shit out when i may aswell just goto bed. You know what, i'll do just that.
